Upon opening the app, your location is used to load a relevant dataset to show only the mushrooms that occur in your country or region. The app's algorithms work by selecting the characteristics of the fungi you would like to identify, and then it provides you with the most likely matching mushrooms.
In addition, the app has a 'Top 20' of the month feature that lists all the common fungi you can find in the month you are in. This feature is useful for keen mushroom foragers or hunters.
